All congregants will be advised in advance by e-mail as well as on our Facebook page. Others are welcome to call 815.455.9236 and check. HIGH HOLY DAYS 2022/5783 Our High Holy Day services are often praised as being the best around as they encompass the beautiful traditions of these holy days with Torah readings, a shofar service and so much more. We have decided to offer this year’s services in a hybrid format: Rosh Hashanah services will be on Zoom, and Yom Kippur in person. Dr David Gilner will again lead the services with Jenny Grubb Krystosek as cantorial soloist. Here is the schedule: ROSH HASHANAH:
Erev Rosh Hashanah

YOM KIPPUR: Services will be held in person at St. Ann’s Episcopal Church, 503 W. Jackson St., Woodstock as follows:
Kol Nidre –

simple live candle-lighting service led by Debbi Viger on Congregation Tikkun
Olam’s Facebook page.
It
has always been our tradition not to charge for tickets, we do not believe
one should have to “pay to pray”.
We encourage everyone to continue giving tzedakah by making financial donations to your local food pantry or other charitable causes, or by bringing much-needed non-perishable foods to your local food pantry. Of course, we continue to accept donations to offset our own ongoing expenses as well.
