PROGRAMMING PAGE
Notifications of upcoming services and/or activities are made by e-mail. Please let us know If you’d like to be added to our general e-mail list. SERVICES: Shabbat and/or Havdalah services will be held at members’ homes – we gladly provide the service leaders and prayer books, and simply ask volunteers to open their homes and host the onegs. Service notifications will be via e-mail, so anyone wishing to be added to this list should let us know. FACEBOOK LIVE SHABBAT CANDLE LIGHTINGS: These brief services were begun during the pandemic as a means to keep us all in touch spiritually, and will be continued on most Friday nights at 7:30 p.m. on our Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/Congregation-Tikkun-Olam-135994543120057. Simply like this page to receive reminders. SCHMOOZDAYS: Our popular schmoozdays are held about every 4-6 weeks at a local restaurant – usually for a weekday breakfast before some head to work. Once a time and place are set, we send out an e-mail invitation to those on our separate schmoozday e-mail list, so let us know if you wish to be added to this list. SEDERS, HANUKKAH PARTIES, ETC. We hope to continue these holiday observances as well, and rely on those interested to organize and host the events, while we can offer the service leadership, prayerbooks, etc. SERVICE PROJECTS: as our name implies, we seek to be strong community advocates and welcome new ideas to bring us together in service to others. We encourage everyone to continue to give tzedakah by making financial donations to their local food pantries and/or other favorite charitable causes. OUTINGS AND OTHER PROGRAMS: Dinners out?
